Despite stellar credit, solid income and loads of equity, we had difficulty in finder a lender that would part with all of our TARP money for a refinance. RiteWay went the extra mile, going so far as to pay for an additional appraisal out of their pocket to ensure that the loan went through. They were ethical, showed great integrity throughout the whole process, immediately returned calls, and followed through to the end. The interest rate we ended up getting was better than anything we could find on bankrate.com, and we are very pleased with the outcome. I wanted to take a few moments to provide some feedback on Jay Rosen, who recently helped me to refinance my mortgage with Manhattan Financial. Jay picked up my file about two months into the process and did a superb job in getting to a final funding event. He was very patient and took the time to answer all of the questions I had, with enough detail to give me confidence to move forward with the process. He was willing to work through everything via email, which was my preference, even though I am sure phone would have been more convenient for him, and he never made me feel pressured to "get this thing done". Near the end of the process, he also talked with the lender without me asking him to, and was able to reduce my interest rate by 0.25%, something he had no obligation to do (even if he had not done this, I would still think he did a great job on the loan, but the reduced rate obviously sweetens the pot a bit!).
I entered the refinancing effort expecting it to be a painful process where I needed to be very vigilant, so that nothing "got slipped into" the mortgage agreement that I was not aware of, or did not anticipate. However, Jay did a very good job of keeping me abreast of the progress and what to expect next so that there were no surprises anywhere along the way--a much more enjoyable process than I expected! Jay provided great service on this loan, and I will definitely recommend him and Riteway to any friends/colleagues who are considering a refinance of their mortgage.

They not only righted the ship, but was able to produce a product that literally saved us upward of 6k a year. But they assured me they could have the loan closed on time as long as I followed their instructions promptly. Not only did RiteWay close the loan on time but got me the lowest rate available anywhere! They could've even closed earlier but I had to ask him to slow down! RiteWay delivered on his promises every step of the way. If I ever need to refinance or get another mortgage I know who to go to. There's no need to waste my time searching for lenders. Even my real estate agent is a believer and is referring clients to Riteway!
